It all began in 1990 in Maniago, when Giusy Rizzeri founded what would become NewInterhouse Real Estate. At a time when the Italian property market was experiencing one of its most dynamic phases, Giusy understood one fundamental thing: a completely different approach was needed from what she saw in other agencies. Not an agency that treated properties as numbers on a sheet of paper, but an agency that focused on people and their stories. The home.
Giusy had worked in the real estate sector and had seen with her own eyes what was not working: agents who promised inflated valuations in order to get the job, leaving owners disappointed after months of their home remaining unsold. She had seen families treated as mere commercial transactions, without empathy or understanding of the emotional value that a home represents for those who have lived there their entire lives. For this reason, she decided to do things radically differently: absolute transparency on real value, total dedication to every single sale, and above all, deep respect for the assets that each family entrusted to her.
In the early years, Giusy worked alone from that first small office in Maniago, personally managing every aspect of sales and building a solid reputation based on a simple but rare principle: always telling the truth, even when it was not convenient. She personally accompanied each family from the first viewing to the signing at the notary's office, taking care of every detail with the dedication she would put into selling her own parents' home. And that's how it all began: from the vision of a woman who believed in a more honest and humane way of doing this job.
In the 1990s and early 2000s, we experienced rapid growth alongside the property boom that characterised Italy during those years, gradually expanding our market and gaining the trust of hundreds of new families throughout the province of Pordenone. The team began to grow with the arrival of new professionals who shared Giusy's vision, allowing us to serve more and more customers while maintaining the same level of personalised attention. During those years, we learned to read the local market like no one else, understanding the specific dynamics of each area of Friuli-Venezia Giulia. Above all, we had happy customers who told their friends and relatives about us.
Then came the economic crisis of 2008-2012, and many estate agencies had to close or downsize drastically as the market collapsed and sales came to a standstill. We managed to withstand and continue operating even in the most difficult times thanks to the solidity we had built up in previous years and, above all, thanks to our loyal customers who continued to choose us. During the crisis, we learned a fundamental lesson that still guides every decision we make today: in difficult times, transparency and honesty are worth more than any aggressive marketing strategy. We helped families sell even when the market was at a standstill, always telling the truth about timelines and realistic values, so that our clients knew exactly what to expect and could make informed decisions even in the most complicated periods.
After 2015, the economic recovery began and with it a profound transformation in the way this work is done, so we had to evolve quickly to keep up. We invested heavily in digital transformation, embracing all the new technologies for property marketing: professional HD photography, cinematic videos, 3D virtual tours, aerial drone footage, advanced data analysis, and targeted digital advertising campaigns. The market was changing rapidly, and we chose to be protagonists of change, not victims.
Since 2018, NewInterhouse Real Estate has undergone a profound structural transformation that has taken us from a small family business to a professional organisation with 15 professionals specialising in different areas. Gabriele Rizzeri, Giusy's brother and now President of the agency, has led this evolution, bringing his more than 30 years of experience in the real estate sector and a clear strategic vision: to maintain the human and family-oriented approach that has always distinguished us, but to equip ourselves with the structure and skills necessary to compete with large national agencies. Together with Cristina Cojocaru, the agency's manager and coordinator of all daily operations, Gabriele has built a multidisciplinary team where each professional has a specific and crucial role.
Today, we use all the technology available on the market, from the most advanced CRM software to advertising campaigns on Meta and Google, from 3D tours to drone videos, but we keep intact what makes us different: attention to people, genuine availability, attention to detail, and direct human relationships.
